GOLDENGLOBES/Sunday, 8pm on NBC will be the 66th Golden Globes Award Show.  Last year we got a really fun podium with the winners being announced; Thank you writers strike.  This year it’s a real telecast with Ms. Rumer Willis serving as Miss Golden Globe.  Yep, that’s the girl who escorts winners, presenters, and carries the statue on and off the stage.  Apparently it’s an honor.

What really interests me is the fact that in many years, and also non-exciting years, the Golden Globes pretty much predict the Oscar winners.  Now there have been upset.  Ie. 2006 when Crash won the Oscar for Best Picture but Broke back Mountain won the Golden Globe.  Seriously that one still confuses me.  But most of the time they are mostly the same.  So I’ve decided to give you my picks for the Golden Globes.  AND if you’re not sure on your picks then check out the interactive Hollywood Foreign Press site which lets you view clips.  And yes I’m skipping a few categories, well because I can.  🙂
